Baird Mandalas Brockstedt LLC is seeking a Legal Assistant to work in its Lewes, Delaware office. This full-time position provides support for the Estates & Trust, Administrative & Government Law, and Land Use & Real Estate Law practice areas.

The firm strives to deliver personal service at a high-level of sophistication to our clients. The ideal candidate must be a well-organized, deadline oriented, and highly motivated professional with a strong attention to detail. They must have the ability to work under pressure, multi-task, adapt to changes, and communicate effectively with clients and fellow employees.

General job duties include, but are not limited to, copying, scanning, faxing, conducting client intake, opening client files, drafting documents, maintaining both paper and electronic documents, scheduling inhouse and remote appointments, witnessing document signings, maintaining calendars, assisting as a backup to the receptionist, and providing administrative support to the attorneys.

The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook and Word. Prior experience and document management system experience (Worldox) is a plus.
