Chase T. Brockstedt

Chase Brockstedt is the lead partner in the firm’s injury litigation department. He has dedicated his career to representing individuals who have been injured through no fault of their own and are seeking fair compensation. Chase has substantial experience in navigating the complicated world of insurance to ensure that his client’s medical bills and lost wages are paid on time and to recover damages for pain, suffering and permanent injuries.

Shelby is part of the firm’s estate & trusts, estate administration, and business planning practice groups. She enjoys assisting clients with conscientious estate planning tailored to their specific needs and goals.

Alexander C. Burns

Alex is a member of the firm’s Land Use and Zoning Group. After graduating from law school, Alex served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Mark H. Conner of the Superior Court of the State of Delaware.

Brent Ceryes

Brent Ceryes is a partner at BMBF and has experience in environmental law personal injury, sexual abuse and misconduct, and healthcare litigation. He served as counsel in the $123 million class action settlement in the Earl Bradley pedophile pediatrician case and in the $190 million class action settlement with The Johns Hopkins Hospital arising out of the conduct of Nikita Levy, M.D., an obstetrician-gynecologist who surreptitiously videotaped his patients during gynecologic examinations.

Tara Clary

Tara Clary has over 25 years of litigation experience handling all facets of the most complex medical malpractice matters, from investigation through discovery and trial. She synthesizes the technical, legal, factual and human aspects of all her cases to deliver outstanding results for clients. Tara has extensive trial experience and was recently recognized for obtaining two of the largest medical malpractice verdicts in the country.

Catherine M. Cramer

Catherine is an experienced and accomplished litigator with a passion for helping others. Catherine is part of the firm’s Mass Tort & Environmental Litigation team and has assisted clients in class action litigation in obtaining favorable results to improve environmental conditions and health hazards in their communities as well as substantial compensation.

Barbara Snapp Danberg

Barbara Snapp Danberg practices in the areas of estate and trust planning and administration, tax, business and succession planning. She represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service and fiduciaries and beneficiaries concerning trusts. She also guides small business owners from the formation and choice of entity to retirement and succession planning.

Mark Denney

For over 16 years at the Delaware Department of Justice (DEDOJ), Mark successfully litigated the most difficult and high-profile cases, including multi-codefendant racketeer-influenced corrupt organizations (RICO), white collar crime, gang prosecutions, public corruption, murder-for-hire, and cold case homicide.

Nicole M. Faries

Nicole Faries practices civil litigation with a particular focus in the areas of land use, landlord and tenant law, and manufactured housing law. She has experience with jury and bench trials in the Delaware Justice of the Peace Court, Delaware Court of Common Pleas, Delaware Superior Court, and Delaware Court of Chancery as well as arguments on appeal to the Delaware Supreme Court.

Philip C. Federico

Phil Federico specializes in mass tort/class action lawsuits and environmental law. He has been involved in historic and groundbreaking litigation with verdicts and settlements in excess of one billion dollars. Phil also has extensive experience in personal injury, sexual abuse and misconduct, and healthcare.

Gabriel E. Finamore

Gabriel focuses his practice on civil litigation with an emphasis on construction-related matters. Drawing upon his extensive experience, Gabriel offers clients the unique perspective of someone with significant first-hand experience in the field when approaching complex legal issues involving construction

Timothy D. Fisher

Timothy D. Fisher is Of Counsel at BMBF. His practice centers on the representation of individuals in cases of medical negligence, wrongful death, birth injury, and catastrophic personal injury.

A. Wray Fitch, IV

Wray Fitch, IV is a partner at BMBF who concentrates his practice on representing individuals injured as a result of medical malpractice. Wray earned his undergraduate degree in psychology in 2006 from Miami University, and his Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School in 2011, with high honors.

Heidi J.A. Gilmore

Heidi Gilmore is an equity partner with the firm focusing her practice on all aspects of real estate from commercial to residential properties. She handles real estate closings, zoning and subdivision matters before the local jurisdiction, as well as banking matters. She also handles business planning and estate planning for her clients.

Matthew P. Legg

Matt assists in representing clients in a variety of mass tort and class action matters. He is currently involved in cases regarding individuals exposed to potential bloodborne pathogens in an ambulatory surgery center, dozens of public entities in litigation against opioid manufacturers and distributors, and numerous school boards in lawsuits against vaping company JUUL.

Donald L. Logan, concentrates his practice in the areas of construction law, commercial litigation, commercial transactions and serving as a private mediator or arbitrator.

D. Zachary Losco

Zach is an associate attorney with the firm experienced in real estate and commercial transactions, including acquisition, finance, and dispositions, and related business transactions. He is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association.

Erica Magliocca

Erica has more than two decades of experience defending health care institutions and providers, pharmaceutical companies, and other defendants in negligence and other civil litigation matters.

Glenn C. Mandalas

Glenn Mandalas has substantial expertise in municipal law and serves as the Solicitor for the City of Rehoboth Beach, the City of Lewes, and the Town of Henlopen Acres. He practices in the areas of administrative and government law, land use and real estate, and litigation.

Michele serves as Senior Counsel at the firm and practices in the areas of estate and trust planning, asset protection planning, special needs planning, long term care planning, and estate and trust administration.

John W. Paradee

John Paradee frequently practices in the areas of commercial litigation, land use and zoning law, administrative and business law, and commercial and residential real estate. John has won a long list of significant cases vindicating the rights of private property owners including the invalidation of confiscatory zoning regulations, reversal of permit denials for various land-use projects and uses, and the successful defense of legal challenges to various commercial projects.

Victoria K. Petrone

Vicky Petrone is a partner in the firm and has a regional practice concentrated on construction law. Her clients include owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, architects and engineers.
